Application and Admission for Foreigners

Thank you very much for your interest in studying at South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences.

Please note that you can start our bachelor programmes only in the winter semester of a study programme.

If you are transferring to a higher semester you can join at the start of the winter or summer semester. Once you have been admitted, you have to contact the examination board for recognition of your credits from another university. The examination board will then decide about your admission into an advanced semester.

Please note: Proof of English language proficiency has to be submitted until the beginning of lectures at the latest. For the English-speaking BBA programme knowledge of the German language is not required. It is beneficial, though, to have some knowledge of the German language for everyday life on campus and in town.
