Digital Certificates
Introduction
If you have never worked with digital certificates before, this article gives you a first idea about the concept (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_certificate).
The University of Applied Sciences provides its members certificates for online services. These "digital identification" allows following functions for the Virtual Service-Center:
- application for and withdraw from exams
- list of grades and certificate of past exams
- list of registrated exams
- change of address, etc.
You can either save the certificate within the web browser (for free) or on a portable eToken, which can be obtained at the students' office (charges apply).
