International Business Administration and Informatics (B.Sc.)

Programme description (brief)

The internationally oriented Bachelor in Business Administration and Computer Science unites the classic subject of Computer Sciences in the Technical Business Economics faculty with a one-year study placement at Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom.

In the first four semesters the students follow the standard study programme of the Computer Sciences course. Contents from the fields of informatics, economics and technology are communicated interdisciplinarily and complemented with detailed foreign language studies. The integration of the technical subjects in the course is particularly innovative. This puts the graduates in a position to address technical questions by employing IT.

Thanks to the combination with a year's study abroad, the students are specifically prepared for the requirements of an international labour market. Studying in English at Staffordshire University teaches valuable international and intercultural experiences.

On successful completion of the course elements at both universities, the students received a dual qualification: In addition to the Bachelor of Science from the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences, they are also awarded the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) from Staffordshire University.
